The Commissioners Court approved the purchase of six more copiers and six trucks Tuesday. The total cost of all six copiers will be $26,884. The Commissioners approved the purchase of four copiers last week. The Road and Bridge Department requested months ago that the purchasing department seek bids on dump trucks and patch trucks. Purchasing Agent Connie Cassidy informed the Commissioners that Silsbee Ford returned the low bid for both items. Orange Police Reports
Two stabbings involving domestic partners were reported to Orange police Saturday, but the victims did not tell police about the attacks. A local emergency medical center reported a stabbing victim about 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said a 31-year-old man had been stabbed in the arm during an argument. His injury was not serious. The patrol officer reported the man refused to give a statement about the stabbing.
