Hutchison to present at Credit Union Chapter Dinner

April 10, 2018

MEDIA RELEASE – Kent Hutchison, formerly of Orangefield, is returning to Southeast Texas on Thursday, April 26, 2018, to keynote at the regional Sabine Chapter of Credit Unions meeting and dinner in Beaumont.

Hutchison is the principal consultant with the C.J. Baxter Group, an employee development consulting and training firm based in Nacogdoches. His topic, titled “The Multiple Generational Workplace,” will focus on understanding relationship strategies in the ever-changing workplace.

“Every generation thinks the one that follows them is apathetic and lazy,” Hutchison said. Adding, “Actually, young people bring value to the workplace, and we will be discussing how each generation must work together.”

Comprised of 28 local Southeast Texas credit unions, the Sabine Chapter provides a collaborative environment for professionals and volunteers to receive education and leadership development. The chapter promotes unity among credit unions in the Southeast Texas region through communication, training, and participation in the community, state and national projects that support the cooperative spirit of the credit union movement. Hutchison is a frequent speaker and consultant working with credit unions across the nation.

“It is always so much fun to return to my hometown region and work with the outstanding community leaders,” he said. “This particular chapter in Southeast Texas is one of the premier programs in the four-state region, and it is entirely an honor to be invited to work with this group of distinguished professional leaders,” Hutchison added.

Hutchison is a graduate of Orangefield High School, attended Lamar State College-Orange, and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is the youngest son of Ronnie and Jennie Hutchison of Orangefield.

The Sabine Chapter Meeting and Dinner is open to credit union professionals and board-level volunteers. Tickets are available through members’ respective credit union. More information about the local credit union chapter is available online atwww.cornerstoneleague.coop, and more information about Hutchison is available atwww.cjbaxtergroup.com.
