West Orange-Stark Athletic Director Cornel Thompson announced the hiring of three new coaches, including a new head baseball coach and a new girls basketball coach.
Craig Jones takes over the Mustang baseball program. He has an impressive resume that includes two state championships at Pleasant Grove in 2010 and 2012. He spent last season as an assistant with Kirbyville. He takes over for Shea Landry who is now at Bridge City.

Kandice Williams takes over the girls basketball program. The Plainview, Texas native helped her high school win a state title in 2001. In two years playing for Western Oklahoma she scored more than 500 points and pulled down more than 500 rebounds. She has been coaching in the Plainview area. Williams takes over for Tiffany McFatter who is now the Mustangs head softball coach.

Former Mustang Seth Thomas recently completed his degree at McNeese where he played college ball after a great career with the Mustangs. He will join the varsity football staff as a receivers coach. He played with the Pokes from 2009-2012. This will be his first coaching job.
