Thursday: On Thursday January 19th the Orangefield Powerlifting team competed in the Silsbee Invitational Meet. In the Boy’s division, Finishing 1st were Gavin Jackson in the 114lb class and Christian Louvier in the 165lb class. Joseph Auer (181lb) and Aaron Galitz (SHW) finished 2nd. Brant Hyatt (165lb) and David Fear (181lb) finished 3rd. The boy’s team finished in 3rd place.
In the Girl’s division, Finishing 1st was Madison Taylor in the 132lb class. Madison was also named Outstanding Lifter on the Light Platform. 2nd place finishers were Linh Tsan in the 114lb class, Julia Droll in the 165lb class, Mclain Down in the 181lb class, Bailey Cady in the 198lb class, and Grace Sullivan in the 259 class. Erica Phillips finished 3rd in the 114lb class. The girl’s team finished in 3rd place. Both Teams compete in two week in the H-F Meet.
