Frances Gayle Thierheimer, 78, formerly of Kirbyville, Texas died and went to be with her Lord and beloved husband, Terry, on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, in Houston, Texas.

Frances was born on September 15, 1939, to Roy Sr. and Inez Crochet.

Frances and Terry moved from Orange TX to Kirbyville where they made their home for 30 plus years.

Frances and Terry were the proud owners of Thierheimer Christmas Tree Farm in Kirbyville for more than ten years. Each year Frances and Terry would dress up as Mr. and Mrs. Claus. They loved seeing families who made a trip year after year as a family tradition to pick out a tree from their farm.

Frances was an avid player of the dulcimer and violin. Often you would find Frances and Terry playing with various instrumental groups in the Southeast Texas area.

Frances loved her bichon frise; Buttons.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Terrance “Terry” Thierheimer. Parents; Roy Sr. and Inez Crochet. Siblings; Roy Crochet Jr., Louise Hailey, and Joyce Shoemake.

Frances is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kay Thierheimer of Cypress TX.; son, Chris Thierheimer, and wife, Bonnie of Bridge City TX. Nine grandchildren: Zach Thierheimer and wife Kirby, Justin Thierheimer and wife Meagan, Dylan Thierheimer, Kaitlin Thierheimer-Pelaez and husband Joe, Brennan Thierheimer, Nathan Adams, and grandchildren of her heart Grayson Johns and Rachel Cascio. And one great-grandson; Ashtor Payton Pelaez.

Visitation will be before the rosary at 5:00 pm on Thursday, Nov. 16.  Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Kirbyville. Frances will be laid to rest at 1:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Orange, Texas next to her husband, Terry.

Pallbearers will be Chris Thierheimer, Zach Thierheimer, Justin Thierheimer, Dylan Thierheimer, Nathan Adams and Brennan Thierheimer.  Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Hastings.
