Local law agencies had a search warrant Friday and raided a house in Roselawn, where they found methamphetamine, equipment to make the drug and counterfeit U.S. currency. Six people were arrested.
One of the men was arrested at the same house in May for counterfeit money. 36-year-old Christopher Shaun Drucker (left) was the man at 105 Amaryllis. On Friday he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and forgery. He had been arrested for forgery in May and police at that time found fake $100, $20 and $10 bills.
Orange Detective Captain Robert Enmon said that during the search Friday, officers found counterfeit bills in stages of being produced.
Others arrested on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance were 44-year-old William Grubbs (right), 43-year-old Chad Morse and 31-year-old Jerod Atkins.
Andrea Lipchak and Jonathan Cole were arrested for Class C misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. They will face a maximum fine of $500.
Officers from the Orange Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, West Orange Police Department and Bridge City Police Department participated in the search.
Captain Enmon said police are looking for counterfeit $5, $10 and $20 bills. The $5 bills have serial numbers of JF38951484A and MF57287701A. The $10 bills have the serial number ML17724971B and the $20 bills have the number JC55564399C. Anyone finding a bill should contact the Orange Police Department at 409-883-1026.
