Orange police arrested two burglary suspects within a 24-hour period. Tuesday at 7:35 a.m. A man in the process of breaking into a house in the 500 block of Decatur Avenue was caught. Police arrested a 40-year-old Albert James Solomon, described as a transient. He was booked into the Orange County Jail. As of Tuesday afternoon, a bond had not been set.
Monday about 9 a.m., Orange police arrested a 16-year-old boy for burglary at a house on Colburn Avenue near Sunset Park. Police first went to the neighborhood about 8:30 a.m. when a burglar alarm sounded at a house on Lakeside Street. Then a half hour later a neighbor on Colburn called to report seeing a youth in plaid shorts coming from a house. Police arrested him and found items taken from the house. The youth was taken to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center in Beaumont.
