Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in conjunction with the Orange County Livestock Association invites all youth of Orange County to participate in the Youth Project Contest. Projects are to be delivered to the Mauriceville Heritage Center 7441 Cohenour Rd in Mauriceville (Crawfish Festival Grounds) Friday October 10th between 4 pm and 6 pm. It’s free to enter your project, categories consist of baked goods (nothing that has to be refrigerated), Arts & Crafts, Woodworking, Photography, and Floral.
Grand Champion Winner’s per age division will be in the Live Auction Saturday 11th. All other entries can choose to be in the Silent Auction. Age divisions, junior grades 3rd-5th, intermediate grades 6th-8th, and senior grades 9th-12th. Let’s show Orange County the talents our youth have. Questions call the AgriLife office at 409-882-7010.
