The Deweyville Lady Pirates became back to back champions of the small school portion of the YMBL tournament this week. They defeated Burkeville, Anahuac, Woodville, and Hardin on Saturday to capture the 2016 YMBL championship. All tournament members for the team were Sr Gabby Dupuy, Jr Brooke Smith, and Jr Maddy Berry. Kennidee Willis was named the tournament MVP.
LCM finished fifth
WOS finished 2-2 in the tournament, losing to LCM for the fifth place spot.
OF was 2-5 in the tournament, beating Ozen and Central.
