A Vidor man is dead after being struck by a car Saturday night in Cedar Park near Austin. The Cedar Park Emergency Communications Division received calls of an injury at the 1100 block of North Bell Boulevard at 11:06 p.m. Saturday night. According to KXAN when officers arrived on scene they found William Clarence Gifford, 37, of Vidor, as well as a 2009 Dodge Caravan and its driver. A Williamson County Justice of the Peace pronounced Gifford deceased at the scene.
