The Mustang STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) class participated in Wednesday’s Motiva Job Shadow event at Lamar University. Students had the opportunity to interact with engineers from local businesses, discussing college and career options for their futures.
As part of the program, local schools sent their STEM classes to participate in the Job Shadow experience. Working alongside assigned engineers, student teams were challenged to design and build a bridge capable of supporting the most weight.
