On Friday, June 21, 2024, around 1:00 pm., Officers responded to the 300 block of Austin in reference to a gunshot victim. When Officers arrived, they discovered a 21-year-old female with a single gunshot wound. The female was transported by life flight to St. Elizabeth, Beaumont, and is currently being treated for her injuries.
BC Police did not provide any details. They said the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.
