A woman was seriously burned Sunday at a house in the 700 block of 10th Street. The Orange Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance treated the woman and called for a medical helicopter to take her to the UTMB Burns Center in Galveston. The helicopter landed about 12:30 p.m. on the grounds of the West Orange-Cove administration building on Park Avenue, the former Anderson Elementary.
