A woman Tuesday afternoon was not injured after her car left the roadway, hit a utility guy wire, rolled onto its side, and then hit a utility pole.
The crash happened on Park Avenue at 16th Street during rush hour traffic at 5:23 p.m.
Orange police report 38-year-old Jodi Robles of Orange was driving a Toyota Camry northbound on 16th Street in the outside lane. She then turned eastbound, or right, onto Park Avenue and went off the roadway.
Police report she was given a ticket for failure to maintain a single lane.
Also Tuesday, the theft of a pistol was reported through a phone call. According to police, an 18-wheel truck rig broke down on Interstate 10 about noon Saturday. The driver left the rig and got a mechanic, who later fixed it. After getting to his destination, he discovered a 9 mm Ruger pistol was missing.
In addition, a theft from a vehicle was reported Tuesday afternoon from the 1900 block of Silver Oaks off Meeks Drive.
