On Thursday, October 8, 2026, officers with the Vidor Police Department were dispatched to Seeds of Hope Learning Center, located in the 21800 block of Interstate 10 in Vidor in reference to an injury involving a child.
During the investigation, officers made contact with witnesses who provided information regarding the incident.
With the assistance of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, a warrant was issued for 60 year old Paula Marie Nero-Hartley.
Nero-Hartley was arrested on October 12, 2026 and transported to the Orange County Jail for Injury to a child, a 3rd degree felony.
