Friday night the Deweyville Pirates hosted San Augustine Wolves for Senior Night. The Pirates came up short on the scoreboard but played their hearts out all night. The final ended 38-6. Keevin Gordon was the leading the rusher for the Pirates with 54 yards on 17 carries and one TD. Gordon was 3 for 10 passing and 3 interceptions. The Pirate defense battled hard all night making the Wolves earn every yard. Gavin Buxton had an interception in the second quarter. The Pirates will travel to West Sabine next week with kickoff at 7:00PM.
