
William Lamar Folsom, age 84 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange, Texas with Pastor Tom Haas officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel.
William was born on July 9, 1933 in Hemphill, Texas to Liza Jane Travis Folsom and Edward Osval Folsom. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. William was a skillful auto mechanic. He loved spending time with his family and making casino trips. William was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be greatly missed.
William is preceded in death by his wife Zula Marie Guidry Folsom, parents Edward Osval and Liza Jane Folsom, four sisters; Lula Mae Lowe, Martha Grace Folsom, Effie Louise Teal and Frances Jean Pickett, and three brothers; O.A. “Slim” Folsom, Clarence Alford Folsom and Burtis Nathan Folsom.
Survivors include his three children; Janie Self of Orange, Texas, Keith Folsom and his wife Ann of Orange, Texas and Sandra Bernard and her husband Joe of Vinton, Texas. A sister Roxie Marie Tager of Orange, TX. Four grandchildren; Michele Stone, Rusty Bernard, Amber Andrus and Brian Folsom. Five great grandchildren; Madeline Stone, Tre Bernard, Sydney Smith, Jax Nelson and Lauren Andrus.
