Orange County had a record number of early votes for Tuesday’s election. When early voting ended on Friday, the county had a total of 22,865 early voters from 53,053 registered voters.
In the 2012 presidential election, the county had 20,097 early votes.
The polls will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Orange County has 34 voting boxes and voters must go to their assigned boxes. Box 12 voting at West Orange-Stark High School will be set up in the school’s career center and not in the main gym as before.
In the early voting, 20,875 were made in person and 1,855 came by mail. A total of 138 votes were from the military, out of country and limited ballots.
