Tuesday around 2pm the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a welfare check at a home located in the Denbow Mobile Home Park off of FM1131 in Vidor. The caller said they had not seen the female that was living in the Park.
It wasn’t long after that more law enforcement officers showed up, as well as the Texas Rangers and the Jefferson Co. Crime Lab.
Captain Joey Jacobs said that because of the unusual circumstances surrounding the case, details were limited. He called it a death investigation but said there was a lot of evidence to process and that they were in the early stages.
