
The Orangefield Bobcats (6-1, 3-0) traveled to undefeated East Chambers and came home with a 35-28 win. The Bobcats were down 21-14 at the half. Forced turnovers turned into big pass plays to Rylan Agerton and Kyran Morrow that allowed the Bobcats to score 14 straight points and take the 35-28 lead with 8:30 minutes left.
The Bucs (5-1, 1-1) would turn the ball over again and OF, behind the rushing of Gage Lucas (25-177-3TD), ran out the last four minutes for the win. The Bobcats are off this week.

LCM jumped out to a 35-6 halftime lead over Livingston and coasted to a 42-13 win. The Bears (5-2, 2-1) rolled up 358 yds. of offense while holding the Lions (4-2, 1-1) to 164.
Aiden Phillips lead the offense with 111 yds on the ground with a rushing and receiving TD. Austin Clophus got the scoring started with a 90 yd. kickoff return.
The Bears travel to Liberty Friday.

The Bridge City Cardinals put up some impressive offensive numbers against Huffman, but it didn’t happen until the second half when they had dug themselves a 27-3 deficit. The Falcons would get the 48-33 victory to improve to 3-4 (2-1). Cards fall to 2-5 (1-2).
QB Hudson Hoffman was 22-4 for 363 with 2TD’s and 2 int’s. Brayden Frederick had 11 receptions for 131 and a TD. Josh Luna ran 31 times for 234 yds. and 2 scores. For the second week Huffman RB Drayden Bacon rushed for more than 300 yards.
BC travels to Livingston Friday.

Deweyville took out their frustrations on Sabine Pass 86-12.
The Pirates had 438 total yards with 419 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards. Sophomore Landen Seymour had 297 all purpose yards with an 85 yard kickoff return for a TD, 1 reception for 19 yards and 193 yards rushing on 9 carries. Landon finished the night with 6 total TD’s, 5 rushing and 1 KO return. The first 5 times he touched the ball he scored. Acesyn Stephenson had 103 yards on 9 carries, Kamen Collins had 52 yards on 6 carries and 2 TD’s, Asher Burch had 39 yards on 7 carries and 2 TD’s and Bentley Richard scored his first high school TD, Bentley had 2 carries for 23 yards.
The Pirates have this week off and play West Hardin at home for Homecoming on October 23rd.

Vidor opened up a close game with Lumberton in the fourth quarter, scoring 28 points for a 63-34 win. The Pirates lead 28-27 after the FIRST quarter and at the half and 35-34 after three.
Bryce Collins had three TD’s and Troy McElveen was perfect on PAT’s. The Pirates (4-3, 2-1) will be off this week.
