36-0. #17 Amyrian Scott threw a reverse pass from 15 yards to #19 Marcus Turner for a TD. 2 point play was no good. 44-0. #19 Marcus Turner scored on a 1 yard TD run. The BCMS football teams hosted the WOS Stallions Thursday night.
The 8th Grade Red team shutout the Stallions 28-0. Abraham Munguia had over 200 yards rushing including 3 touchdown runs. Braxton Lynam also ran the ball well adding a touchdown run as well. The offensive line did a great job opening up holes to our backs. The defense was led by Abraham Munguia who had two interceptions. Hunter Ford had an interception as well. Juan Garcia had several sacks and tackles for loss. Aher Richardson, Braxton Lynam, Brady Havard, and Ethan Hernandez were solid as well. WIth the win the team finishes the season in second place finish in district with a 4-2 record and finish 5-3 on the year.
The 7th grade Red team fell to the Stallions 30-8. Offensive leaders include Bryce Breeden who had a 70 yard touchdown run, Alex Chappell and Joel Williams also made solid contributions. The defense was led by Caleb Heraldez, Luke Nelson, Alex Chappell, Keagan Trahan, and Bryce Breeden. The loss drops their district record to 3-3 and they finish 4-4 on the year.
The 7th grade white team played a combined 7th/8th grade game with some of our 8th grade white guys. They lost a close 14-6 ballgame. Braylyn Atia played well at quarterback completing several passes to Braydon Denison to pick up key first downs. In the final seconds of the game Atia hooked up with Kevin Cullums on a 40 yard touchdown. Kaston Flowers also had a nice throwback pass to Atia to pickup a firstdown on that drive. Defensive leaders included Ricky Kelly who had several sacks, Carson Richey, Caleb Robinson, Ryder Melanson, and Hayden Holden. Season highlights include sweeping the PNG schools.
The 8th grade white team hosted the St. Anne Wildcats Tuesday night. The Cardinals fell to the Wildcats 42-28. The Cardinals had two quarterbacks throw for a total of four touchdowns on the night. Judson Carlin had two touchdown passes to Atticus Moore and one to Hunter Pinion. Grant O’Quinn also had a touchdown pass to JJ Rougeau. LJ Gutierrez, Konner Bradley, Collin Moody, Evan Jackson, and Trystan Davidson also played well offensively. The defense was led by River Snell, Trenton Cox, and Judson Carlin.
