The Orangefield baseball and softball team had make up games Monday with the Warren Warriors on Staff Appreciation Night and the Bobcats came out swinging.
The Bobcat baseball team beat Warren 10-0 in five innings. Matthew Johnson got things going with a two run homer in the second. Camden Fountain also had a bases clearing double in the fourth. Kane Smith and Logan Cheek had two hits each.
Kaleb Menard kept Warren off the base paths allowing no runs on no hits and two walks with 3K’s in four innings. Colton Myers pitched a scoreless fifth for a five inning no hitter. With the win the Bobcats have posted five shutouts in district and remain undefeated in 22-3A play.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Warren Lady Warriors 10-0 in 5 innings.
Abigail Curphey got the win on the mound throwing 4 innings of hitless ball with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Charlee Sanches finished the game giving up 1 hit with 3 strikeouts.
Charlee Sanches led the Lady Bobcats on offense tonight going 2 for 3 with 2 homeruns, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Paisley Reeves had 2 hits with a run scored. Aubree Beck had a hit, a walk and a run scored. Hallee Becker scored 3 runs on a hit and 2 walks. Abigail Curphey had a hit and a walk. Haylee Spears and Alysen Vincent both had a hit and a run scored. Abby Broussard and Audrey Sonnier both had runs scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 23-8-1 on the year and 11-2 in district play and will wrap up the regular season Tuesday in Hardin beginning at 5:00.
