Walter Lee Bean, age 55 of Hartburg, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his home. Services to honor Walter’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Cherry officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at King Cemetery in Hartburg, Texas. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home.
Walter was born in Galveston, Texas on July 19, 1966 to parents, Arnold Robert Bean and Marjorie Gay Kelley Bean. He was the youngest of fifteen children. Walter loved sports and was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved teaching and coaching kids. Walter also loved to play pool and played in many tournaments and leagues in Orange. Walter was a kind and giving person, who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Marjorie Bean, brothers, Alton Bean, Arnold Bean and Archie Bean and sisters, Renola Bean and Mary Lois Bean.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings; Egbert Bean of Hartburg, TX, Ellie Bean of Beaumont, TX, Avie Cain of Vidor, TX, Janie Richard of Vidor, TX, Dova Bean of Vidor, TX, Linnie Stewart and her husband Frank of Orange, TX, Margaret Watkins and her husband Donny of Vidor, TX and Mildred Monger and her husband Wade of Vidor, TX, numerous nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
Pallbearers honoring Walter will be Steven Bean, Andrew Richard, Jason Richard, Wayne Richard, Robert Richard and Daniel Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Collin Boulet, Clint Owens and Conner Richard.
