The Vidor Police Department held a ceremony Thursday evening at the Vidor City Hall to announce the promotion to the rank of Sargeant to Sgt. James Blankenship and Sgt. Steve Rivers. Chief Rod Carroll also welcomed new members Officer Erin Bailleaux and Officer Michael Cook who were sworn in.
