In compliance with the regulations established in TPDES General Permit No. TXR040000, the Orange County Stormwater Quality Coalition has developed a Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The Coalition’s stormwater management program contains best management practices to ensure that municipal operations and residential activities within the community will not negatively impact the stormwater discharges into our local water bodies. In addition, the Coalition has developed a designated stormwater website (www.TXMS4.com/Orange) that contains public education materials regarding stormwater quality issues, a copy of the SWMP, and copies of the annual reports that are submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality each year. Any stormwater quality questions, concerns, or input that you may have can be submitted using the Public Involvement link found on the home page of this website. Please explore the remainder of the Coalition’s stormwater quality website to obtain additional information regarding stormwater discharges and steps you can take to improve the water quality in our community and the State of Texas. This virtual public involvement session will remain open to receive questions and comments from July 1, 2022 – July 31, 2022.
Coalition members are Orange County, City of Pinehurst, City of Vidor, City of West Orange, City of Bridge City, City of Orange, and Orange County Drainage District.
