The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Virginia Cotton, 59, of Orange will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2 pm at the El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Rites of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 18th at St. James Cemetery in Frogmore, LA under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 pm.
Mrs. Virginia Cotton was born in Ferriday, LA to Prince Reed, Sr. and Annie Nix.
Residing in Orange some 43 years, she united in Holy Matrimony to Bobby Cotton 42 years ago.
Her summons from earthly life came Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
Along with her husband Bobby, she is survived by sons Bobby Cotton, Jr. and Robert Cotton, daughters Carolyn Cotton, Mary Cotton, Barkisha Cotton and Latisha Simien (Carlton) all of Orange, brothers Prince Nix of Orange and Charles Nix of Galveston, TX, sister Betty Carter of Orange and 14 grandchildren.
