Vidor High School is celebrating two students as Students of the Week.
First is junior, Madison Jones. Madison is a proud member of the Lady Pirates Volleyball team and also competes in Track. You can also find Madison on the sidelines every Friday night participating on the varsity cheer team. She excels on the court and in cheer, and she maintains excellent attendance and grades.
Also honored this week is senior, Jason Watson. Jason is a member of the Mighty Pirate football team and also plans to participate in basketball and track this year. Jason is a leader on the field and around campus. He works hard to build up those around him through the example he sets with his work ethic. Jason was recently recognized by a staff member who thanked him for quickly coming to assist her when she slipped and fell in the hallway. Thank you Jason for going above and beyond to help others.
