Orange Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2775 and the Auxiliary will host their Annual July 4th Free BBQ/Membership Drive for members, their immediate family and guests on July 4th at the VFW Hall at 5303 North 16th Street. Serving will begin at noon. Membership tables will be set up at 10am. Members are invited to attend the BBQ and pay your dues of $20 for auxiliary and $32 for the VFW. Membership tables will be set up to assist with dues and memberships.
Local veterans are asked to join the organization and help us with our fight in Washington to protect and keep promises made. The numbers are the power! Bring a DD214, or other proof of overseas service to the BBQ and someone will be available to assist and verify eligibility. The same holds true for prospective Auxiliary members, which now include males…if a male has a mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, sister or brother who is eligible for VFW then this male is eligible to join the auxiliary. Entrance fee to join the VFW is $33 and to join the auxiliary is $25…after joining, your annual dues will be $32 for post and $20 for auxiliary.
