Vesta Michele Fox, age 6, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at Children’s Hospital at The Woodlands.
A lifelong resident of Vidor, Vesta, was born with a chronic illness that brought her many challenges, surgeries, and hospital stays in her short life. But through it all, she remained a bright light to those around her—full of sass, spirit, and a smile that could melt hearts. Vesta faced every day with courage far beyond her years, teaching her family the true meaning of strength and joy.
She loved watching Tangled and Moana. Her sass and sparkle left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she filled her home with laughter, love, and stubborn charm.
Vesta is survived by her loving parents, Matthew and Jerrica Fox of Vidor, TX; her siblings Liam, Carly, and Raelyn Fox, all of Vidor; and her grandparents Keith and Carol Stephenson of Vidor, TX. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Jamen Stephenson and wife Amber, Justin Fox and wife Katie, Vesta Thompson and Richard, Philip Stephenson, and Hailey Robles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Candy and Martin Fox.
Though her time here was far too short, Vesta touched many lives with her joy and fierce little spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
