LCM volleyball won the Silver Bracket in the Lufkin Tournament Saturday. On Saturday they defeated Hamshire-Fannett 2-1, Woodville 2-0 and Tarkington 2-1. Friday the Lady Bears beat Hudson 2-0, lost to Tatum 2-0, and beat Groveton 2-0. Thursday they lost to Iola 2-0, and defeated Coldspring 2-0 and Cleveland 2-0.

Orangefield Lady Bobcats – Lufkin Tournament Recap
The Lady Bobcats spent three days battling through the Lufkin Tournament, showing growth, resilience, and flashes of strong team play against tough competition. Day 1 opened with matchups against Huntington (20–25, 18–25) and Lufkin (15–25, 19–25). The Bobcats finished the day on a high note, sweeping Rusk (25–21, 25–13).
Day 2 brought a full slate of games. Orangefield went the distance with Lumberton before falling in three (18–25, 29–27, 16–25). The team bounced back with convincing wins over Chester (25–17, 25–16) and Cleveland (25–4, 26–24), showcasing both control and composure in tight moments.
Day 3 closed out the weekend with two more hard-fought battles. Orangefield fell to Woodville (25–17, 10–25, 20–25) and Hamshire-Fannett (21–25, 25–17, 18–25).
OF will face Bridge City, Tuesday, August 26 with Freshman starting at 4:30 and JV/V to follow.

Bridge City competed in the gold bracket of the Lufkin Tournament. They defeated Dayton and Hudson 2-0 on Thursday, Anderson-Shiro and Woodville 2-0 on Friday, and lost to Lumberton and Huntington 2-0 on Saturday.
