Two men were taken to Baptist Orange Emergency Room Sunday afternoon following a collision on Strickland Drive at the Home Depot entrance.
Orange Police Officer Nicholas Medina reported that a Dodge Charger was traveling southbound when a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck turned left into an entrance at the big box store. The truck hit the Charger, which went into a ditch and hit a fire hydrant.
Officer Medina said 63-year-old Thomas Ray Posey of Orange was the driver of the pickup truck. 20-year-old Hunter Allen Felts of Beaumont was driving the Charger. Both were taken by Acadian Ambulance to the emergency room. An 18-year-old passenger with Felts was not injured.
Officer Medina gave citations to Posey for failure to yield the right-of-way plus having expired license plates.
