Reese will graduate as the Valedictorian of his class. While in school, he earned many academic awards, has a perfect 4.0 gpa, and will be graduating with an Associate Degree from Lamar State College Orange. He was active in many social and service clubs including National Honor Society and E-Sports (both in which he serves as president) and in Chess Club, Rotary Interact Club, and Student Council. Reese also competes as a member of the school’s academic UIL team, where his team placed 1st and advanced to Region in Science. He was a 3 year varsity track member, where he competed at the Area meet each year running hurdles.
Reese is looking forward to a new chapter as he starts Lamar University in the fall, where he has been accepted into the honors program and will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science. He hopes to eventually become a radiologist.
In his free time, Reese loves to travel with his family and has traveled to all 50 states!
Rylee will graduate as Salutatorian and with his Associate Degree from Lamar State College Orange with a perfect 4.0 gpa. He Is the current Vice President of National Honor Society and also participates in Rotary Interact Club, Student Council and academic UIL. He advanced to UIL Region as the Area’s 1st place winner of Literary Criticism and was the 4th place winner of this year’s Region 5 Citizen (history) Bee.
Rylee is this year’s current band Captain where he plays snare and tenor drums and is a 3x UIL State participant with his percussion ensemble. When he’s not studying, Rylee is playing music as part of the band, drumline, pep band or Kickin’ Brass!
Rylee will be attending Lamar University Honor college in the fall, where he plans to pursue a Bachelor of Business. He hopes to make business and networking connections while in college and ultimately hopes to own his own business or start his own non-profit one day.
