The LCM Lady Bears defeated Orangefield 22-25, 25-13, 23-25, 20-25 in a district match Tuesday.
LCM will play host to Silsbee on Friday.
For OF, they were lead by Libby Thurman had 4 aces and 11 digs. Alayna Dodd had 14 digs. Mackenzie Haley had 8 kills and Harleigh Rawls had 7. Madison Greenway had 3 aces, 15 kills, and 17 digs. Faith Burnette had 21 digs and 19 assists. Brianna Moore had 21 assists. The Lady Bobcats travel to Vidor on Friday to finish up district play. The Varsity will start at 4:30.
The Bobcat freshmen won in three sets and the LCM JV needed three sets for their win.
The Lady Bobcats will be playing a warm up game for the playoffs on Friday October 29th at 4:30 against Diboll. The game will be played at Orangefield High School and will be varsity only.

On Pink Out night the BC Lady Cards remain undefeated in district play after taking down Lumberton 25-16,25-14, 25-10 in what Coach DeLuna called a “total team effort.”

The Lady Bobcats took on our rival from across the Bayou on Monday night.
7B had a standout showing from Lainey Maricle hitting the service line for 9 straight points! Gina Ragusa had great attacks that helped seal the win- taking back to back wins over the Cardinals.
8B Also had a star server in Mattie Owens with 16 serves- 7 of them being Aces! Elyse Gunter was next- contributing 3 Aces of her own. From the Front row- Brooklyn Wagoner made her presence known with skillfully placed attacks. 8B took the win- making them 4-0 in Districts!
7A took the court against the Cardinals and didn’t let up! Taking them down in just 2 sets- Ava Walker was leading server with 18 points in the match from the service line, Madison McCormack in a close 2nd with 16 of her own points- 4 being aces! Paisley Reeves led in Attacks- having 3 kills and Kendall Jones, along with Mikayla Locke had assists that catapulted our Bobcats into the win column! 12-2 is their season record- going 4-0 in Districts so far!
8A took on a talented Bridge City team. Haylee Spears had a dynamite block and Charlee Sanches went on an impressive serve shriek, while Steele Franklin had digs in the back row to keep us in the game. We fell to the Cardinals in 2 sets. Record sits at a solid 10-4 for the season as these girls are working together daily to keep those wins coming!
Next game is at Vidor next Monday!
