The Vidor Lady Pirates and the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears played a five set classic Tuesday. LCM won the first set and the Pirates won sets two and three. The Bears would battle back to win set four but it was the Lady Pirates who sealed victory with a 15-13 fifth set. For Vidor: Raegan Stephenson 10 kills & 3 blocks; Brooklyn Bushelle 8 kills, 1 ace 1 block; Madison Jones 8 kills & 1 block; Rylee Sherman 2 kills, 1 block, 15 assists; Brilie Cornelison 4 aces & 9 assists. Vidor improves to 3-1 and LCM falls to 2-1.

Bridge City got a three set non-district win over Huntington 25-14, 25-10, 25-11. For BC: Harlee Tupper 9 kills, 4 aces ; Caryss Carpenter 9 kills, 1 block; Morgan Louvier 9 kills, 4 aces; Demi Carter 2 kills, 6 aces, 2 blocks. BC is back in district action on Friday as they travel to Lumberton.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats played the West Orange Stark Lady Mustangs and came away with the two team sweep. The JV won in two sets with scores of 25-15, 25-7. The varsity won in 3 sets with scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-13.
