District play began for area schools and the Vidor Lady Pirates opened with an 8-0 win over Silsbee. Taylor Bull had an assist and scored career goal 100. Coach Fields said, “Taylor has been a dominant scoring threat for the Lady Pirates as she currently leads the team in scoring so far this season with 16 goals and she broke the school’s single season scoring record last year scoring 45 total goals.” Chloe Post scored 2 goals and 1 assist. Also scoring one goal and one assist each in tonight’s game were Laikynn Jones and Michaela Droptini. Quincy LaPray, Jordyn Fowler, and Haleigh Guidry each scored a goal and Taylor LaPray and Jordin Bull each added one assist. The Lady Pirates are 10-1-1 on the season and have 11 shutouts outscoring their opponents 56-3. They welcome LCM at home Friday January 31 at 5pm.
