
LCM beat Silsbee 13-3 in six innings Tuesday to split the series with them. More importantly the Bears stay a game behind Bridge City in the 22-4A Standings.
Taylor Gilbert got the win giving up two runs on six hits (four of those in fifth inning) with 2K’s one walk and one hit batter. Thayne Toomey pitched a scoreless sixth for the Bears (6-2) with three strikeouts.
Offensively Slade Green, John Beeson had multi hit games while Jordan Alexander was 1-3 with 3 RBI’s and a walk. Three Silsbee pitchers combined to walk seven batters in the loss. Tigers drop to 3-5 in district.

Kadeon Evans had four hits in Orangefield’s 20-1 win over West Orange-Stark for the series sweep. The Bobcats totaled 17 hits with multiple hit games also from Kent Michael, Kaiden Dubose, Brett Fregia, and Mason Gonzales. Thirteen of OF’s runs came in the fifth inning. Gonzales was the winning pitcher for Bobcats. He allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out four.
OF (6-2) has two games left against BC with Senior night on Friday. WOS will take on Silsbee and with a sweep of the Tigers WOS could finish fourth and a trip to the postseason.

BC had to comeback to beat Hamshire-Fannett 17-11. Down 7-3 the Cards capped the comeback with 6 in the fifth for the win to stay on top of the district standings at 7-1.
Justyn Romero went 3-4 with 4 RBI’s while Logan Hamm and Caleb Dubois also had three hits each. Hamm hit a HR in the fifth.
The Cardinals used six pitchers in the game with Hamm getting the win.

BC blanked HF 10-0 in six innings. Kassidy Wilbur threw a one hitter and struck out 14. Caitlin Denison was 3-3 with an RBI and three runs scored. Kyndall Harrison was 3-4 with a double and an RBI. Natalie Reed was 2-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. BC goes to OF Friday for the final district game looking to stay undefeated.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the WO-S Lady Mustangs 16-0. Kaylee Ancelot got the win on the mound going 2 innings giving up no hits with 2 strikeouts. Codie Sorge completed the game, going 2 innings with 3 strikeouts on 1 hit. Karlye Bramblett went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored. Ryden Stanfield went 2 for 4 with a run scored. Ancelot went 2 for 4 with a homerun and 2 RBIs. Autumn Frost went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Olivia Grant went 2 for 2 with a walk and 3 runs scored. Tiffany Ciancaglione went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Emma Humplik went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a triple, 2 runs scored and 4 RBIs. Kristin Broussard went 1 for 2 with a walk, 2 runs scored and an RBI. The Lady Bobcats improve their record to 21-8-1 and 5-4 in district play. They wrap up district play at home on Friday night vs. the BC Lady Cardinals.
