Big showdown in Silsbee as the BC Lady Cards took on the Tigers, who came out on top 65-62. For BC, top scorers were Kaylee Britten (19) & Aubrey Small (12), Rebounds: Whitney Cunningham (13), Steals: Mia Sterling (6). The Lady Cards will take on Jasper at home on Friday, January 10 for Middle School Night.
Orangefield got another district win, beating Buna 54-42. The leader of the night was Mikayla Locke with 20 points, 7 steals, and 5 rebounds. Addisyn Moore had 8 points of her own with 2 assists and 2 rebounds, and Kendall Sullivan had 6 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. This puts the Lady Bobcats 5-1 in district. The JV Bobcats 26-25. Ava Josephson led the night with 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Paxton Oldham also had 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Kinsley Moore had 4 points and 1 steal. The Lady Bobcats close out the first round of district Friday at home vs. Anahuac with the JV starting at 4:30.
WOS beat Vidor 36-35. Angel Cooper led WOS with 10, Carlysia Simien had 9 and Lamaria Tillman scored 7.
Lumberton beat LCM 59-41.
Deweyville lost to Big Sandy 72-25.

WOS beat Vidor 54-53 in OT. Geramicah Davis and Kwalin Dugas led WOS (2-1) with 14 each.
Silsbee 55 Bridge City 51 – Cardinals led by Aaden Bush with 21 pts and Jagger Carlin with 11. Cardinals battled to the buzzer with a fantastic team effort but fall a little short. BC moves to 16-9 (1-3) and travel to Jasper Friday.
LCM 44 Lumberton 27 – Dane Hawk lead the Bears with 26 points.
Orangefield 83 Buna 72 – Jaden Scales poured in 30 for the Bobcats.
Beaumont Harmony 53 Deweyville 33 – Kallel Crooks 10, Micah Curl, Kamen Collins and Jaxon Slone all had six for the Pirates.
