The regular season came to a close tonight and four Orange County teams will be headed to the postseason.
The Orangefield Bobcats wrapped up the regular season with an impressive win over Kirbyville 72-41. The win gives the Bobcats a 13-1 (31-4) a share of their first district title since 1954. Jaden Scales had 27 pts and 4 assists, Zane Wrinkle with 12, 13 rebounds and 12 assists, and Griffin Thomas scored 19 and added 6 rebounds. OF and Kountze will play to decide first and second seed in playoffs, TBA.

The Vidor Pirates are going to the playoffs for the first time in 20 years after a 60-53 win over the Jasper Bulldogs. The tandem of Bryce Loftin and Jose Guerrero-Evans both led the way with 17 points. The Vidor freshmen won 44-4 and the JV won 55-40. The Pirates head to the playoffs Tuesday. They will play Hamshire-Fannett at East Chambers at 6pm.

The WOS Mustangs got their first win in the new gym with a 60-53 Senior Night win over Bridge City. The Mustangs JV also won 48-45. Both will be headed to the postseason. WOS will play Huffman on Feb. 20 at 7:30pm. The Cards will play Livingston on Tuesday at 6pm in Lumberton.

LCM lost to Silsbee 78-40. Alantheon Winn scored 26 for the Bears who end the season 12-21 (3-9).
