
The Vidor Pirates held off a tremendous attempt at a comeback by Orangefield to win at home 61-55 Tuesday night at Pirate Gym.
Bryce Loftin (above) silenced his critics with 24 points including 8-8 from the free throw line in the fourth. Orangefield’s Jaden Scales (below) lead the comeback with four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 24 in the game.

LCM beat PNG 54-48 with 24 pts. and 11 boards from Alantheon Winn. Jayden Benton and Dane Hawk had nine each. Langston Adams had 17 for the Indians. LCM (1-1) will play at Huffman Friday.

BC lost to Huffman 66-44. Aiden Gutierrez lead the Cards with 14, Aiden Bush added 10 and Lincoln Breaux had 7 and 7 rebounds.

GIRLS
BC beat Kelly 45-34. Rylynn Thornton paced the Cards with 13 pts and 12 rebounds. Whitney Cunningham and Kennedy Campbell had 11 each.

LCM traveled to PNG and won 51-23.
