WOS Lady Mustangs gave first year Coach DJ Wilson a signature win with a 49-46 win over Orangefield. The Lady Bobcats led for three quarters but WOS outscored OF 17-6 in the fourth for the comeback win. Led on the defensive side of the ball by their guards Keshauna Winbush, Naudia Watson and Aniah Henderson, Coach Wilson said “these three young ladies are starting to understand our defense. Marlandria Hebert finished with a game high 18 points and 13 rebounds along with B’Jne’ Arvie 9 points and 8 rebounds. BC lost at East Chambers 52-47. Aspen Daniels led the Lady Cards with 21 pts.
Deweyville lost to Nederland 38-29.

BC over Kirbyville 69-30. Austin Richardson had 14 and Grant Boudreaux with 11. Cardinals are 3-1, play Vidor Thursday morning 8 am in the Nederland tourney at the Montagne center.
Liberty 72, LCM 60. Bears (1-4) were led by Cole Freeman with 15 and Ethan McCollum with 10. Bears travel to the Aransas Pass Tournament this weekend.
Deweyville beat Good Samaritan 80-21 for their first win over the season. Nate Buxton scored 22, Ty Collier 16 and Cade Watson 14 for the Pirates.
WOS lost to Memorial 77-43. Jalen Ross had 12 pts and 8 rebounds for the Mustangs.
