The LCM Lady Bears held off a late rally by Vidor on Tuesday and beat the Lady Pirates 36-27. Chelsea Perry led the Bears with 11 and Zaria Johnson and Brittney Wyatt pitched in 8. Chriseline Quirante had 18 for the Lady Pirates. LCM is in the Anahuac Tournament beginning Thursday. Vidor is in the Orangefield Tournament.
The BC Lady Cardinals traveled to Deweyville and won 38-29 to improve to 13-4. Hannah Wiegreffe and Madison Fischer each scored 11 points and Aspen Daniels added nine.
WOS Lady Mustangs defeated Kelly 37-25. Gabby Tims scored 11 points; Alissa Brown 8 points 13 rebounds; Marlandria Hebert, KeShaunia Winbush, Diamond Judge each had 6 points. WOS will also play in the OF Tournament.
Orangefield defeated Tarkington 54-30. Coy Bryant was 4-8 on 3’s and finished with a team high 14. Valentin Catt added 9 points and 11 rebounds.
LCM scored 26 points in the third quarter and beat the Jasper Bulldogs 63-57. Braden Bridges hit for 39 in the win. Tee Collins scored 27 for Jasper.
BC lost to PNG 54-45. Grant Boudreaux paced the Cards with 13. They travel to the Central Heights Tournament Thursday.
WOS lost to Nederland 63-44. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 24-5 first quarter lead. Teron Brown lead the Mustangs with 25 pts and 8 rebounds.
