Valentin Catt, with the block from behind, had 14 points and 13 rebounds but it was not enough as Lumberton’s slow down game beat the Bobcats 39-32. Coy Bryant added eight on 3-12 shooting. The Bobcats travel to the Wallis-Brazos Tournament Thursday.
LCM got 42 points from Braden Bridges in their 66-57 win over Liberty.
BC beat Kirbyville 34-25 and will join the Bears and Vidor at the Nederland Tournament Thursday.
Deweyville lost a close one to Johnson’s Bayou 45-42.

WOS beat Baytown Lee in OT 62-61 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
GIRLS
WOS defeated Evadale 53-35 behind 22 points from Diamond Judge. Marlandria Hebert added 20.
BC beat East Chambers in OT 52-48. Madison Fischer scored 16 and hit a end of game buzzer to send the game into overtime; Rylee Oceguera 14; Hannah Wiegreffe 12 rebounds. BC is 7-3 and will play next vs jasper in the Deweyville tourney.
Deweyville defeated Johnson’s Bayou 38-35. Jada Freeland 12 points, Payton Waldrum 9 points, Aleigha Raymer 8 points, Brooke Sims 5 points, Chloe Landry 4 points. Raegan Chance, Chesleigh Hamilton, and Lacie McCollough also contributed in the win coming off the bench to pull down some key rebounds, and play great lock down defense.
