
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Hardin Lady Hornets 15-0 in 3 innings tonight to open district.
Teal Kibodeaux got the win on the mound in a no hit shutout with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.
Aubree Gamblin hit her first homerun of the year, and added a single, a walk, 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Jocelyn Droddy had a single, a double, 2 runs scored and an RBI. Madi LaSalle had 2 singles with 2 RBIs. Laila Agerton had a single, a walk, 2 runs scored and an RBI. Karlie Traxler had a double, a walk, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Teal Kibodeaux and Charlee Sanches both had two walks and a run scored. Hallee Becker, Hannah Bisson, Brennah Lee, and Bre LaSalle all had runs scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 13-1 overall and 1-0 in district play and will open up the Cleveland tournament this Thursday.

Bridge City opened district with a 13-0 win over WOS in five innings. Kaylynne Christian was 3-3 with 3RBI’s. Kennadee Sheffield was 2-2 and got the win with a no hitter in two innings. Cambree LaComb pitched the last three giving up just one hit and she was 2-3 with 3 RBI’s.

Deweyville lost a tough one to Kelly 10-9.

LCM lost to Hamshire-Fannett 7-3. Tessa Erickson took the loss. The Bears had five hits, two each from Kendall Jones and Halynn Trosclair

Vidor beat Jasper 14-2 (5) to open district. It was also the first district win for first year coach Brooke Collins (above). Every starter had at least one hit. Daphney Arrant was 3-4 with 3 RBI’s. Tylen Cassell was 2-4 with a HR and 3RBI’s. Bailey Hargroder was the winning pitcher.

Bridge City 7 Buna 3 – Ashton Sumrall was 3-3. Slade Landry got the win in 3 innings of work.

Deweyville lost their opener to Warren 15-4. Third baseman Carter Hughes had two of the Pirates three hits.

LCM lost to Liberty 4-2. The Bears had six hits, three by right fielder Mason Istre and two by Clay Raney.

Orangefield 10 H-Fannett 0 – Kaleb Menard threw a six inning perfect game with 10 K’s. Freshman Kaysen Click was 3-3 with a triple and 2RBI’s.
