
The Orangefield Bobcats (7-2) bounced back from their loss to Kountze with a big 7-2 home win over Buna (4-5). The Bobcats jumped out to a 6-0 lead after three thanks to a few hits and Cougar miscues. Ethan Sanders and Cole Sanches had two hits each. RBI’s for Sanders, Layne Reynolds, Carson Worthy, Kale Spears and Rylan Agerton. Kaleb Menard walked four times and scored twice. Carson Gonzales got the win, giving up no runs on two hits with seven K’s in 4.1 innings.

LCM beat Silsbee 12-5 behind a three run homer by Marco Bandiero. Parker Seago struck out 11 for the win. Seago also had two hits in the lead off as every Bear starter got into the hit column. Clay Darby was credited with 4RBI’s on a 1-4 night.

WOS lost to Lumberton 18-1, with the Raiders scoring 14 runs in the the third.

BC’s game at Jasper was moved to Wednesday and the Cards won 11-0 in five as the Cards had 8 stolen bases. Slade Landry had a day going 3-3 with 3 RBI’s and 3 runs scored. Owen Tucker was 2-3 with 2 RBI’s. Max Pachar got the win on the hill.

SOFTBALL
Bridge City smacked Jasper 21-8 on Senior Night, celebrating Nicole Sasser, Kyleigh Hamilton, and Brooklyn Droddy. Ella Droddy was 3-3 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Kaitlyn Juneau had 3RBI’s going 1-2 and Gabby Moore had 2 RBI’s.

Orangefield wrapped up the 22-3A title with a 17-2 (3) win over Warren to go 12-0 in district. Teal Kibodeaux had 3 strikeouts in 1 inning of work. Charlee Sanches gave up no earned runs on 3 hits with 4 strikeouts in 2 innings of work.
On Senior Night, senior Alysen Vincent led the way offensively with 3 hits and 3 runs scored. Hallee Becker had 2 hits, a stolen base and 2 runs scored. Teal Kibodeaux had 2 hits, a walk, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Charlee Sanches had a 2 run homerun, a single, and 2 runs scored. Audrey Sonnier had a hit, an RBI and a run scored. Laila Agerton had 2 walks, an RBI and a run scored. Jocelyn Droddy had 3 walks and a run scored. Madi LaSalle had a run scored. Paisley Reeves had 2 walks, 3 runs and an RBI. Kenli Vacek had a walk and a run scored. OF (28-4) will travel to Buna this Friday with a varsity only match-up beginning at 6:00.

The LCM Lady Bears (10-0) crushed Silsbee 10-1 as catcher Lexis Moss was 3-4 with 2HR’s and 6 RBI’s. Kendall Jones had three hits and Jill Brown was 2-2 with a walk and an RBI. Ella Stephenson and Tessa Erickson combined to pitch a 4 hitter with 5K’s and 2 walks.
