
Trevor Randal Hemphill, 28, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, in Beaumont. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, and was a longtime resident of Vidor. Trevor was a member of One City Church in Beaumont, TX, and loved his Lord Jesus deeply. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed telling us about his latest project.
Trevor enjoyed skateboarding, playing basketball and spending time with his family. His proudest moment was when he became a father to his daughter, Faith, whom he adored deeply.
Trevor was known for his fun-loving nature and adventurous spirit especially at his favorite place, Petit Jean State Park.
He is survived by his daughter, Faith Hemphill of Lumberton, TX; his parents, Randy and Shannon Hemphill of Vidor, TX; his brother, Reagan Hemphill of Austin, TX; and his grandparents, Debbie Ragsdale of Kirbyville, and Kenneth and Linda Hemphill of Vidor, TX. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles: Tam Lee and husband Geoff of Longville, LA, Jan Hemphill of Beaumont, TX, Laura Watson and husband Gary of Evadale, TX, and Jason Ragsdale and wife Diedra of Kirbyville, TX, along with numerous cousins who loved him dearly.
Trevor was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sammy Ragsdale, and his uncle, Chuck Hemphill.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
