Tournament time for our ladies in softball. Vidor, Orangefield, and LCM went undefeated Thursday.

Vidor was 2-0 on the day at the Goose Creek Memorial Tournament. They beat Baytown Lee 7-1. Eryn Barazza hit a 3 run shot. Tylen Cassel had a solo HR as the Lady Pirates beat Baytown Sterling 3-0.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats improved to 3-0 on the season with wins over HJ and PN-G on day 1 of the Anahuac Tournament.
Game 1 win vs. HJ 9-6:
Charlee Sanches got the win on the mound throwing a complete game giving up 2 earned runs on 6 hits and 2 strikeouts.
Aubree Beck led the offense with 3 RBIs and her first homerun of the season. Paris Becker had 2 hits, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Hallee Becker had a double and a run scored. Haylee Spears had a hit, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Abby Broussard added two hits, a walk, and a run scored. Alysen Vincent and Brennah Lee both had a hit, and a run scored. Abigail Curphey added two hits, and Audrey Sonnier had a run scored.
Game 2 vs. PNG:
Abigail Curphey got the win on the mound giving up just 3 hits, no earned runs with 3 strikeouts.
Charlee Sanches got the scoring going with a homerun to tie the game 1-1. Curphey had 2 hits and an RBI. Hallee Becker had a hit and a run scored. Brennah Lee had a run scored. Aubree Beck and Paris Becker both added hits.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 3-0 on the week and take on Hardin Jefferson tomorrow morning at 11 and Kirbyville at 1:00.

LCM won twice at the Goose Creek Memorial Tournament…
LCM Lady Bears won big over Lamar Varsity Texans 11-0 on Thursday thanks to an Addison Denton grand slam to left field in the top of the third.
Ella Stephenson earned the win for LCM Lady Bears. The righty surrendered one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking two. White, Cook, and Moss each collected two hits for LCM Lady Bears. Denton led LCM Lady Bears with four runs batted in. LCM was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Moss made the most plays with nine. Lady Bears will travel to Brazosport Exporters for their next game on Friday.

Tessa Erickson was the winning pitcher throwing 5 innings allowing 3 hits, 0 earned runs, 2 BB and 3 KO. Jacelyn Cook 3 for 3 with 3 RBI, Eden Frenzel 2 for 3, Lexis Moss solo home run, Ella Stephenson 2 for 3 with a triple, Abby Sepulvado had 1 RBI.
