The Celebration of Life for Mr. Timmie Lee Johnson, Jr., 55, of Orange, will be Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the Orange Gospel Assembly at 11 am.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11 am.
Timmie was born October 25, 1963 to Oda Mae (Thompson) and Tobe Johnson. He departed this life on September 23, 2019 with his loving mother at his side.
He was raised and educated Orange, TX. He graduated from West Orange-Stark High School in 1982.
Timmie worked in maintenance and construction. He married Deborah Anderson on April 17, 1984. To this union one daughter, Kerisha, was born. After Deborah’s death, Timmie married Christine Thompson Hopkins on August 19, 2001. She also preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were his father, Tobe Johnson, his stepfather, John Walker, his brothers, William Thompson and Jerry Thompson and his sister, Ella Johnson Elahee.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Kerisha Anderson of Orange, his mother, Oda Mae Walker, also of Orange, four brothers, Minister Douglas Cash (Cheryl) of Beaumont, TX, his twin, Elder Dr. Jimmie Johnson (Susan) of Tyler, TX, Tobe Johnson, and Henry Walker (Quiana), both of Orange, four sisters, Pamela Arnold of Orange, Sherry Brooks (Thomas) of Katy, TX, Missionary Dr. Carolyn Patton (Tyrone) of Nacogdoches, TX and Stella Walker (James Amber) of Tyler.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will also cherish his memory.
