
Vidor won twice at the Cleveland Tournament Thursday. They defeated Shepherd 3-2 with only 2 hits. One each from T. Cassell and A. Korman. S. Aguirre got the win giving up just 3 hits and striking out 4. The Lady Pirates also beat Tarkington 5-1. Natalie Morrison struck out 7 in the win. She also lead the offense going 2-2 with 2RBI’s.
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats went 2-0 on the first day of the Cleveland tournament defeating MacArthur 4-0 and Cleveland 4-2.
Vs. MacArthur – Charlee Sanches got the win on the mound giving up just 2 hits, 2 walks, with 6 strikeouts. Hallee Becker had a hit, a walk and a run scored. Abby Broussard scored 2 runs. Haylee Spears had 2 hits and an RBI. Paisley Reeves had a hit and an RBI.
Vs. Cleveland- Abigail Curphey got the win on the mound giving up no earned runs on 2 hits with 3 strikeouts. Aubree Beck led the offense with 2 runs scored, a solo homerun, and a single. Hallee Becker had a hit and a run scored. Abby Broussard, Alysen Vincent, and Paisley Reeves all had RBIs. The Lady Bobcats improve to 10-5-1 and play Tarkington Friday at 11:30 and Humble at 4:00.
WOS played twice at the Evadale Tournament. They lost 6-5 to Evadale and beat Spurger 9-3.
Bridge City is participating in the Liberty/Huffman Tournament. The Lady Cards lost to Liberty 12-3 and they defeated Grand Oaks 4-1 with Carson Fall pitching a 2 hitter and striking out 18. Lexi Nugier and Makenna Knight had 2 hits each.

BASEBALL
LCM freshman Jacob Schreiderer allowed just two hits over 5 innings as the Bears beat Orangefield 8-4 at the C-B Tournament. Freeman and Raney had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s in the win.
William Lee of WOS was 2-3 w/ 3 RBI’s in the Mustangs 7-3 win over Warren today. Diego Ibarra got the win with 10K’s. WOS lost the nightcap of Day One at the C-B Tourn. to Kountze 7-0.
Carson Gonzalez drove in two runs with a double as the Orangefield Bobcats beat Liberty 9-5 Thursday morning at the Certa-Bearden tournament. Matthew Johnson went two for three and Adam Tran drove in two runs for the Bobcats.
At the PNG Tournament, the Vidor Pirates suffered two tough losses. They were shutout by West Brook 3-0 despite B. Bushelle striking out 9 and not giving up an earned run. Vidor lost to the host Indians 1-0 in a pitchers duel. Sims took the loss giving up just one run on 3 hits and striking out four.
At the Cameron Yoe Tournament, Bridge City shutout Elgin’s JV 19-0 with the game only going two innings. A. Frederick had 4 RBI’s and D. Latiolas added 3. Cards lost to Navasota 11-1 recording five errors in the contest.
