Day 1 of the Montgomery Tournament is finished and the Cardinals went 1-1 on the day.
Game 1: Cardinals took down another Australian team by the score of 55-34. We were led by Aaden Bush with 23 pts and Jiraiya Jennings added 12.
Game 2: Cardinals took on a scrappy and athletic Spring team and played a fantastic game but ultimately ended up falling short 4 pts 61-57. Cardinals were led again by Aaden Bush with 22 pts. Jiraiya Jennings and Braydon Denison both added 10. Abraham Munguia chipped in with 7!
Cardinals play PNG Friday at 1:00PM in bracket play.

In the Deweyville Tournament, the host Pirates beat Johnson’s Bayou 65-40

GIRLS
Orangefield opened the Bill Tennison tournament strong with a 42–38 win over the Evadale Lady Rebels. Olivia Smith led the way with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Mikayla Locke added 13 points and 4 rebounds, while Brooklyn Wagoner finished with 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Lady Bobcats kept the momentum rolling with a 47–18 victory over Nederland. Olivia Smith had 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals. Brooklyn Wagoner followed with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Madison McCormack contributed 9 points and 9 rebounds in a big effort.
The JV will take on ARCA at 3pm and the Varsity look to keep the momentum going and take on Woodville at 7pm.

In Deweyville tourney…WOS ladies beat Community Christian 60-32 and they defeated the host Pirates 36-29.
