Three people from Orange were sent to the hospital after an accident Monday near McDonald’s on 16th Street.
A gray Ford F150 was traveling southbound on 16th St. and attempted to turn into the McDonald’s parking lot. The driver, Gilberto Garcia, of McAllen, failed to yield the right of way to a white Chevrolet Impala that was traveling north.
The Impala struck the rear of the pickup, pushing the truck into the curb.
The driver of the Impala, Devon Marquiz Turner, a passenger and an eight year old were transported to hospitals with what were reported as non-life threatening injuries.
